Volunteer Testimonials
“It has been a true pleasure to work with MAM – a remarkable NGO, based upon the values of evidence-based practice and doing as much as possible with available resources – values that I totally share.” – Dr Sarah Morrow, Myanmar 2016
“I have thoroughly enjoyed this project in Yangon, Myanmar and am very appreciative of the opportunity. My aim for the project was to provide nurses and counselling staff with sexual and reproductive health training, which they would not normally, gets access to. “ – Jenny, Nurse, Myanmar 2017
“This was my first real professional experience which made it quite formative. Although the overall climate is vastly different from what we would see (in the UK) for example. Green Shoots and Muneezay taught me a lot about the workings of an NGO which is sure to be helpful if I am ever going to make it in this industry.” – Leo Asseman, Volunteer, Cambodia 2019
