Olly Gazay
Olly was born in Geneva and grew up in Paris. He also spent three years in Washington DC and has lived most of his life in London. He is holds both French and British citizenships.
Olly practices friendship, humour and boxing on a regular basis.
He studied law at Oxford, UCL and the Sorbonne and started off as barrister.
Realising with huge disappointment that this had no remote connection with coffee, Olly left the legal profession and became an entrepreneur. He sold his business recently and was lucky enough to secure a publishing contract for his first novel soon after that. He now dedicates his time to writing, charity work and looking after his nine godchildren.
Not necessarily in that order.
A keen cook and traveller, Olly was seriously impressed with Cambodian culture, nature and food, and above all with the genuine kindness of the Khmer people.
He was delighted to be voted in as trustee to the Green Shoots Foundation.
